We act as a proactive business partner to internal functions and production sites, aiming to achieve optimal results across the dimensions of quality, supply security, sustainability, innovation, risk, and cost.The key to successful procurement lies in cross-functional and integral collaboration, as well as a deep understanding of technical requirements and regulatory frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and implementation of a global category strategy within the overall global energy procurement strategyRepresentation of procurement towards external business partners and senior managementMonitoring of markets,



as well as analysis of innovation and technology trendsNegotiation and conclusion of energy contracts with a strong focus on risk and cost optimizationMonitoring regulatory developments in energy markets and deriving required actionsCollaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g., sustainability team, facility management, finance)Responsibility for CSRD-relevant procurement measures including PPAs, ESG integration, and reporting supportProfessional QualificationsDegree in business administration, engineering, energy economics, or comparableSeveral years of experience in strategic energy procurementSolid knowledge of energy markets (electricity and gas)Experience with PPAs and sustainability strategiesStrong understanding of end-to-end procurement processesFluency in English and Spanish; German is an advantageProficiency with digital tools and MS OfficeSAP knowledge is a plusPersonal CompetenciesStrong strategic mindset and analytical skillsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsHigh level of initiative and responsibilityTeam player with intercultural competenceAffinity for sustainability and innovation B.
