About the Role

We are partnering with a leading international organisation that is investing heavily in Artificial Intelligence and Data capabilities. They are looking for an experienced AI Lead Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and operationalisation of AI solutions across the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development, deployment, and optimisation of AI and Generative AI solutions.
- Design and maintain AI-ready datasets and data pipelines.
- Ensure the quality, performance, scalability, and governance of AI models and services.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and business stakeholders.
- Promote responsible AI practices and contribute to AI governance standards.
- Support the adoption of AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Technical Skills We're looking for professionals with experience in several of the following areas:
- Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications.
- LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain , Semantic Kernel , or similar.
- MLOps practices including model deployment, monitoring, versioning, and lifecycle management.
- Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Azure AI ecosystem , including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, AI Search, and Azure Machine Learning.
- MLflow, Databricks, or equivalent machine learning platforms.




- Feature engineering and AI data preparation.
- Vector databases, embeddings, and AI-ready data architectures.
- API development and integration (FastAPI or similar).
- Cloud-native AI architectures, preferably within Microsoft Azure.

Preferred Certifications The following certifications are considered a plus:
- Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals
- Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
- Databricks Machine Learning Professional
- Generative AI certifications from recognised providers
