Marosa is a leading FinTech company based in Vigo, specialising in tax technology. Our mission is to simplify global VAT compliance for multinational companies through powerful and user‑centric software.

We are looking for a

Presales Engineer

to join our team. You will be the bridge between our sales team and our product technology: bringing the technical depth needed to support customers throughout the buying decision, and the ability to translate that technology into business value. The role combines sales support, technical customer support and deep ownership of

API integrations.

What You Will Do

Support the sales team in technical meetings,

demos

and

discovery

sessions, identifying customer needs and integration requirements.

Design and run

Proof of Concepts (PoCs)

and pilots.

Respond to the technical sections of

RFPs, RFIs and security questionnaires , and maintain a reusable answer library.

Provide technical customer support on integrations.

Guide customers through the product flows.

Channel feedback and gaps spotted during the sales process back to Product, and ensure a smooth handover to Onboarding/Delivery after signing.

What We Are Looking For

Proven experience ( 3+ years ) in a Presales,

Solutions Engineer

or Technical Consultant role within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.

Solid knowledge of

SaaS architecture,



REST APIs and cloud technologies .

Hands‑on experience with APIs.

Foundational programming skills.

Ability to read API technical documentation and guide customers through it.

Excellent

communication skills

to simplify complex concepts and connect them to business value.

Ability to manage several opportunities in parallel, with

autonomy and a results‑driven mindset .

Bonus

Knowledge of the

tax‑tech / e‑invoicing

space: structured formats (XML/UBL/JSON), the Peppol network, clearance vs post‑audit models and country‑specific reporting obligations.

Experience with

ERP

integrations (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies and experience in regulated environments.
