What does the job look like?

As a Transport Coordinator within our Government & Defence team, you’ll play a key role in coordinating subcontractor freight movements and ensuring seamless, compliant operations across our network. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, values accuracy, and enjoys working closely with both internal teams and external partners. Key areas:
- Coordinate daily freight movement requirements across W&D; sites and Defence customers
- Cost and quote freight movements in line with contracted rates and policies
- Identify and escalate issues requiring immediate attention




- Ensure subcontractor compliance with COR, NHVR standards and Linfox requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across distribution processes
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and general administrative support
