For our headquarters in Madrid, we are looking for a Data Privacy &
- Compliance Specialist
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the data protection framework across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, local data protection regulations, and applicable standards.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to data privacy.
- Contribute to the identification and management of risks associated with personal data processing.
Documentation Management
- Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and processor registers.
- Draft and review privacy notices, data processing agreements, confidentiality agreements, and related documentation.
- Develop and update internal privacy policies and procedures.
Risk Assessment &
- DPIA
- Support the execution of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
- Identify privacy risks and propose mitigation actions.
- Assist in broader risk assessment processes related to data protection.
Data Subject Rights Management
- Manage and coordinate data subject requests (access, rectification, erasure, objection,
restriction, and portability).
- Advise internal stakeholders on appropriate responses and compliance requirements.
Data Breach Management
- Support the detection, analysis, and notification of personal data breaches.
- Coordinate with IT and Information Security teams to ensure appropriate response and mitigation.
Third-Party &
- Due Diligence
- Participate in supplier and third-party assessments from a data privacy perspective.
- Review and validate data protection clauses in contracts with external partners.
Training &
- Awareness
- Deliver or support internal training sessions on data protection and privacy.
- Promote a strong data privacy culture across the organization.
Support to Data Protection Officer (DPO)
- Assist the DPO in performing their duties.
- Prepare reports, metrics, and dashboards for management and governance bodies.
- Ethics, Compliance &
- Corporate Policies
- Support the dissemination of ENGIE’s Ethics &
- Compliance principles across the organization.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies related to H&S;, Diversity, Cybersecurity, Sustainability, and Compliance.
Team Management &
- Culture (if applicable)
- Manage and develop assigned team members, defining objectives and supporting their growth.
- Contribute to strengthening ENGIE’s corporate culture and values.
