As a Senior Footwear Designer, you will lead and drive the creation and development of new and innovative footwear products at ALOHAS. Collaborating closely with the Head of Design and other members of the Design Team, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of design, from initial concept to final product sample. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape our collections, bringing your vision and expertise to deliver products aligned with our brand.YOUR CHALLENGE:Lead and oversee the entire footwear design process from concept to final sample, ensuring alignment with the brand’s vision and market trends.Research and incorporate new materials, textures, and innovations in footwear to keep designs innovative and relevant to our clients.Collaborate closely with product development, merchandising, and production teams to ensure design feasibility, quality standards, and adherence to project timelines.Create detailed sketches, tech packs, and AI drawings for each style, communicating design intentions clearly to product development and manufacturers.Conduct trend analysis and competitor research to anticipate customer preferences and integrate insights into the design.Drive seasonal storytelling and design themes that align with Alohas’ brand identity and resonate with target audiences.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring a balance of creativity and efficiency in delivering high-quality footwear concepts.Research and investigate new sourcing options, suppliers and sustainable materialsPartner-up with our suppliers to manage each sample tracking and production order.YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE...Proven experience in footwear design, with a minimum of 5+ years in a similar senior role, ideally within premium or high-growth fashion brands.Exceptional creativity and an eye for detail,



with a deep understanding of the technical and aesthetic aspects of footwear.Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and/or AI tools are a plus.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex design concepts to cross-functional teams.A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and adapt designs accordingly.A robust understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainable design principles.Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.A passion for fashion and a keen understanding of Alohas’ brand ethos and target market.Willingness to travel, as needed, to visit factories, attend trade shows, and engage in research.BENEFITSA Culture of Freedom, Responsibility & Trust: We believe in autonomy, accountability, and mutual respect.Adaptable Working Hours : Adapt your schedule to your lifestyle.
