A multinational company within the manufacturing sector is looking to recruit for its site in Łódź, Poland, a:Supply Chain Finance LeadMissionTo provide financial leadership and business partnering support to the manufacturing site, delivering accurate financial insights, cost analysis and performance visibility to support effective decision-making. The role will act as the key Finance partner for plant operations while supporting the integration of the site into the European structure and serving as the main local Finance point of contact in Poland.Key Responsibilities:Lead financial reporting and analysis for the manufacturing site, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in line with corporate and regional requirements. Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes, including headcount, expenses, inventory and other key operational metrics. Monitor manufacturing and supply chain costs, performing variance analysis and identifying key cost drivers and opportunities for improvement. Maintain financial and operational KPI dashboards, providing actionable insights to support plant management and regional Finance teams. Manage inventory valuation and standard costing processes, ensuring accurate standards for materials, labour and overheads. Support physical inventory counts, inventory reconciliation and initiatives aimed at optimizing working capital. Partner closely with Operations and other plant functions to improve cost control, operational efficiency and overall financial performance. Support CapEx management, profitability and pricing analysis,
as well as continuous improvement and process standardization initiatives. Drive the financial and operational integration of the site into the Central European and broader European organization. Act as the main Finance focal point in Poland, liaising with the European Finance and Accounting teams on local financial, statutory and tax-related matters. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field. Minimum 6 years of experience in similar Finance roles, including at least 3 years of plant controlling experience within a manufacturing company. Strong knowledge of FP&A;, cost accounting, standard costing, variance analysis and manufacturing/supply chain finance. Solid experience working in manufacturing environments, with a hands-on approach and willingness to work closely with plant teams and spend time on the factory floor. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience working with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI is highly valued. Fluency in Polish and English is essential. Previous experience in plant integration projects, system implementations or operational transitions within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights. Proactive, hands-on and results-oriented profile, with excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization.
