This is a senior leadership opportunity for an established charter professional who is looking to take responsibility for the strategy, commercial performance, and future growth of an existing charter operation. The successful candidate will lead an established team and have full accountability for developing the department, increasing revenue streams, expanding the client and yacht portfolio, and driving continued commercial success. The Role As Head of Charter, you will take full ownership of the Charter division, combining strategic leadership with hands-on business development. This role requires someone with a strong commercial mindset who is confident generating new opportunities, building relationships with high-net-worth clients and industry partners, and implementing the structure and strategy required to grow a successful charter operation. You will have significant autonomy and will be responsible for shaping the future direction of the department.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the Charter division’s growth strategy, including market positioning and business development initiativesTake ownership of departmental performance,



including revenue growth, profitability, budgets, and P&L; managementDrive new business opportunities through client acquisition, yacht introductions, and central agency opportunitiesBuild and maintain relationships with HNW and UHNW charter clients, yacht owners, brokers, and industry partnersNegotiate and close charter agreements across retail and central agency channelsGrow and develop the company’s charter portfolio and market presenceLead, motivate, and develop the existing Charter team, with responsibility for future team expansionEstablish performance targets and reporting structures to monitor commercial successWork closely with operational teams to ensure exceptional client and owner experiencesOversee charter marketing activity, including listings, events, and digital presenceProvide regular reporting on pipeline, bookings, revenue, and departmental performance The Idóneo Candidate This opportunity is suited to an ambitious charter leader who is motivated by growth and building something commercially successful. The successful candidate will have a proven track record within luxury yacht charter and be able to demonstrate success in developing revenue, managing commercial performance, and growing a charter business or department.



You will be a natural business developer with an established network across the charter market, comfortable identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and winning business. You will also have the leadership capability to develop a team and implement processes that support long-term growth.RequirementsMinimum 5 years’ experience successfully leading a luxury yacht charter business or departmentStrong experience within the retail and/or central agency charter marketEstablished network of charter clients, brokers, and industry contactsProven ability to generate new business and develop commercial opportunitiesExperience managing budgets, financial performance, and departmental profitabilityStrong leadership and team management experienceCommercially driven, analytical, and results-focused approachAbility to work autonomously and take full ownership of outcomesExcellent communication and relationship management skillsFluent English required; additional languages are advantageous Location The preferred location for this role is Palma, Mallorca. Candidates based elsewhere will be considered; however, regular presence in Palma will be required, particularly during the initial stages, to build relationships and establish a strong operational presence.
