Managing DirectorTourism Leisure CompanyAbout Our ClientA well-established and innovative company in the tourism and leisure sector, operating in the Canary Islands and delivering highly specialized, experience-based activities for international visitors.The company is currently seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead its multi-site operations, oversee a multidisciplinary team, and drive the next phase of growth while maintaining the highest standards of operational performance, and customer experience.Job DescriptionWork closely with the Board of Directors to define and execute the company's strategic and commercial objectives in line with revenue and profitability targets.Lead and represent the company across operational, legal, and commercial matters, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including authorities, financial institutions, suppliers, and partners.Oversee multi-site operations, ensuring efficient, and high-quality service delivery.Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.Define and implement commercial and operational strategies to drive revenue growth, optimize costs, and enhance the overall customer experience.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational and financial performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.Identify market trends, growth opportunities, and potential risks,



implementing strategies to support sustainable business development.Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to strengthen market positioning and drive customer acquisition.Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards while maintaining strong relationships with relevant authorities.Oversee financial planning and budget management in coordination with finance partners.Continuously evaluate and optimize internal processes to improve operational efficiency and support future growth.Report regularly to shareholders on company performance, strategic initiatives, and key decisions.The Successful ApplicantProven experience as a Managing Director, General Manager, or similar senior leadership role, ideally within tourism, hospitality, leisure, transport, or experience-based industries.Strong understanding of business management including operations, finance, legal, sales, and marketing.Demonstrated experience managing multi-site operations and leading diverse teams.Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities while maintaining strict cost and operational control.Strong stakeholder management skills with experience interacting with shareholders, authorities,
