Introduction

We are looking for a Senior BI Analyst to support a long-term data and reporting project within a complex enterprise environment.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, functional analysts and technical teams to analyse reporting needs and translate them into clear functional requirements, reporting logic and effective visualisations.

This role combines functional analysis, data analysis and hands-on BI expertise. You will help define reports and dashboards, validate data and calculation logic, support the implementation team and ensure that the delivered solutions provide clear and actionable business insights.

Tasks

- Analyse business needs and reporting requirements.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, reports and dashboards.
- Define and document reporting, KPI and calculation logic.
- Design clear, effective and user-friendly data visualisations.
- Validate data, calculations and underlying reporting logic.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, functional analysts and development teams.
- Support reporting solutions throughout the analysis, development, testing and maintenance phases.
- Ensure the quality, consistency and business relevance of the delivered reporting solutions.




- Provide functional guidance and support to the implementation team.
- Work independently while maintaining close alignment with both business and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

- At least 10 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting and data analysis.
- At least 10 years of experience working in complex enterprise environments.
- Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise BI and data visualisation solutions.
- Strong experience in analysing business and reporting requirements.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements, reports and dashboards.
- Good understanding of data warehouses, reporting models and underlying data structures.
- Experience supporting reporting solutions throughout analysis, development, testing and maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, analysts and development teams.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and deliver results.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Familiarity with GitHub and AI-assisted development tools.
