The Lead Architect/Designer is a full-time, on-site role based at The Blue Pearl Ibiza.

Lead the design vision for one of Ibiza's most ambitious residential developments.

Bluepearl is seeking an experienced Lead Designer to head our in-house design team and drive the architectural and interior design vision of the project from concept through delivery. This is a senior role for a confident, organised professional who pairs strong creative instincts with command of today's digital and AI-driven workflows. About the role

As Lead Designer, you will own the design process end-to-end: setting standards, coordinating consultants and contractors, and ensuring every drawing, model and specification meets Bluepearl's quality benchmark. You will report directly to senior management and work closely with the development, construction and commercial teams on site in Ibiza.

The successful candidate will combine proven creativity with the leadership, organisational and presentation skills needed to inspire a team and represent the project at the highest level. You will also act as guardian of Bluepearl's visual identity — overseeing social media output, presentation materials and every external touchpoint to ensure they stay on brand and on standard.

Key responsibilities

● Lead, mentor and coordinate a multidisciplinary design team (architecture, interiors, technical).

● Develop and maintain the project's BIM environment, ensuring model integrity, version control and clash-free coordination.

● Produce and oversee design documentation across all RIBA / Spanish project stages — concept, planning, technical, construction.

● Coordinate with external consultants (structural, MEP, landscape, lighting)



and ensure deliverables align with project standards.

● Manage design timelines, deliverables and quality control across the team.

● Apply AI tools to accelerate concept generation, visualisation, documentation and review workflows.

● Present design proposals to stakeholders, investors and regulatory authorities in English and Spanish — clearly, persuasively and to a high visual standard.

● Ensure full compliance with Spanish and EU building regulations, CTE and local Ibiza / Balearic planning requirements.

● Oversee Bluepearl's visual identity and house style — reviewing and approving social media posts, presentations, brochures, renders, sales materials and website visuals to ensure consistent quality and brand alignment.

● Work alongside marketing and external agencies to guide creative direction, art-direct photoshoots and renders, and maintain the project's brand guidelines.

Required experience

● Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture, with 8+ years of professional experience and a proven track record leading premium residential or mixed-use projects.

● Proven creativity — a strong, well-curated portfolio that demonstrates original design thinking and consistent quality across delivered projects.

● Proven design and presentation skills — able to communicate ideas through compelling drawings, renders, models, boards and live presentations.

● Strong visual and editorial eye for brand consistency — comfortable reviewing and approving social media content,



marketing materials and presentation decks against a defined house style.

● Demonstrable leadership experience managing design teams and external consultants.

● Expert command of BIM workflows and Archicad (Revit also valued); fluent across AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Twinmotion / Lumion / Enscape, and the full Adobe Creative Suite.

● Confident user of AI-powered design tools (e.g. Midjourney, Veras, Stable Diffusion, ChatGPT, Krea, Magnific) integrated into a professional workflow.

● Strong knowledge of Spanish building codes (CTE), licensing processes and construction documentation standards.

● Excellent organisational skills — able to run multiple workstreams, deadlines and stakeholders in parallel.

● Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written). Additional languages (German, French, Italian, Dutch) are a strong plus.
