Presales Engineer – EV Charging – Benelux

Overview

A fast-growing EV charging and smart energy company is looking for a technically strong, commercially minded Technical Product Specialist / Pre-Sales Engineer to support its growing Benelux operation.

Combining technical product knowledge with strong Dutch and Belgian EV charging market expertise, you’ll support customers, partners and sales across pre-sales, solution design and technical support.

This is a key role in the company’s Benelux growth, with the opportunity to help shape its product and commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical and product expertise across the Benelux EV charging market.
- Support sales with solution design, proposals, tenders, demos and customer meetings.
- Translate customer requirements into technical and commercial solutions.
- Advise on market, technical and regulatory requirements in Belgium and the Netherlands.
- Resolve complex product and installation issues alongside engineering and product teams.
- Support installation partners with onboarding,



training and performance management.
- Analyse market and competitor activity to support product and commercial strategy.
- Understand the CPO, energy, leasing, billing and reimbursement ecosystem.
- Feed customer and market insights into product and engineering teams.

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years' experience in EV charging, e-mobility, energy or a related sector.
- Strong knowledge of the Dutch and/or Belgian EV charging market.
- Fluent Dutch is essential; French highly desirable.
- Technical/engineering background, ideally electrical or mechanical.
- Experience with EV charging products, particularly AC/home charging, is highly advantageous.
- Background in pre-sales, solutions engineering, technical sales, product or technical account management.
- Understanding of CPOs, charging networks, energy providers, leasing, billing or reimbursement.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions.
