Responsibilities
- Act as one of the primary legal advisors for EU operations, providing timely, commercially pragmatic guidance on key legal matters, including but not limited to foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, factory cooperation, import and customs, distributor and dealer management, retail operations, industry and consumer related compliance and employment-related matters.
- Collaborate with the China Head Office legal team to adapt and implement global compliance policies and processes for the EU market.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and standardize a range of contracts, including but not limited to KD cooperation agreement, distributor and dealer agreements, sales and after-sales agreements, product warranty policies, commercial leases, store operation related contracts,



agreements of all kinds of outsourced services.
- Oversee compliance with EU data privacy regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and other emerging privacy laws of different European countries, while implementing general data protection policies.
- Monitor changes in the laws and regulations of EU and different European countries and provide proactive legal advice to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Support supply chain operations by addressing legal issues related to import/export compliance, customs regulations, and logistics.
- Ensure corporate governance compliance, including maintenance of statutory records and submissions for EU entities.
- Develop and deliver training programs tailored to EU legal and compliance requirements, focusing on data privacy, contract management, retail operational best practices, etc.
- Manage relationships with external counsel
