Role- Senior Sharepoint Engineer(Contract)

Work Mode- Remote

Engagement Type: Project-based Assignment; B2B Contract (Outside IR35)

Our client is seeking an experienced SharePoint Engineer to design, develop, customize, and support enterprise SharePoint solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This is a hands-on development role focused on building modern SharePoint Online solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies.

Key Deliverables

- Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Build custom applications using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Develop integrations using .NET/C#, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and Azure Services.
- Create and maintain custom web parts, extensions, and reusable components.
- Develop solutions using CSOM, PnP Framework, PowerShell, and SharePoint APIs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and production support.




- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SharePoint and Microsoft 365 issues

Ideal Profile

- 5+ years of hands-on SharePoint development experience.
- Recent experience (within the last 12 months) delivering SharePoint Online projects.
- Strong expertise in:
- SharePoint Online
- SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
- CSOM
- .NET / C#
- React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- REST APIs and Microsoft Graph API
- PowerShell
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 services.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint security, permissions, governance, and compliance.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Microsoft certifications in SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or Azure are highly desirable.
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) is an advantage.
- Experience working within consulting, professional services, or enterprise environments is preferred.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate recent hands-on SharePoint development experience and confidently discuss technical solutions during interviews
