Key Responsibilities

- Analyse and document business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams and other relevant stakeholders.
- Analyse business processes, identify gaps and propose practical solutions and improvements.
- Work extensively with SQL to analyse, validate and extract data to support business requirements and decision-making.
- Define requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows and functional documentation.
- Collaborate with development and testing teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Participate in workshops with business and technical stakeholders and challenge requirements when necessary.
- Support testing, validation and implementation of delivered solutions.
- Ensure effective stakeholder communication and follow-up throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a banking/financial services environment.

Experience Required





- 5–6+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
- Mandatory: Proven banking/financial services experience.
- Strong hands-on SQL skills with the ability to query, analyse and validate complex datasets.
- Strong experience in business requirements analysis, functional analysis and process modelling.
- Experience working as a bridge between business and IT teams.
- Experience with testing, validation and translating business requirements into functional specifications.
- Fluent in Dutch or French, with strong communication skills in the second language considered an advantage.
- Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
