Experienced and Passionate Tapas Tour Guide

As a Tapas Tour Guide as SANDEMANs Tours you will take international visitors beyond Madrid’s famous landmarks and into the heart of the city’s food culture. You will lead guests through authentic bars, lively neighborhoods, and local tapas spots while sharing the stories, traditions, and customs that make Madrid’s culinary scene unique.

You will combine your knowledge of Spanish food and culture with engaging storytelling, creating a relaxed, social, and memorable experience for guests from around the world. From explaining the history and traditions behind tapas to introducing visitors to local specialties, you will help guests discover Madrid through its food, people, and neighborhoods.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead engaging and entertaining tapas-focused walking tours
- Introduce guests to traditional Madrid tapas, drinks, and local specialties
- Share stories about Spanish food culture, traditions, and dining customs
- Recommend and explain local dishes and ingredients
- Create a friendly,



social atmosphere where guests feel comfortable meeting one another
- Adapt the experience to guests with different backgrounds, interests, and dietary preferences
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and guest service throughout the tour
- Stay informed about Madrid’s evolving food scene, local venues, and culinary culture

The adecuado candidate is passionate about Madrid, enthusiastic about food and hospitality, and confident speaking to groups in an informal yet professional setting. Previous experience leading food tours, working in hospitality, guiding visitors, performing, or public speaking in Madrid is highly valued.

You should be comfortable taking guests off the beaten path, introducing them to authentic local experiences, and telling the stories behind the food in a way that is informative, entertaining, and memorable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 30.00€ - 60.00€ per hour
