Job DetailsJob no: Work type:Instructional Faculty - Temporary/LecturerLocation:FresnoCategories:Unit 3 - CFA - California Faculty Association, Temporary, Part TimePosition SummaryThe department seeks qualified candidates to teach undergraduate courses or other classes that may be identified as needed to fulfill educational goals of current students.Instructor ResponsibilitiesAdhere to and implement university and system-wide policies per Academic Policy Manual 306, paragraph 2.Prepare, deliver, conduct, proctor, and grade lectures, office hours, homework, quizzes, projects, and exams.Ensure all classes meet as scheduled throughout the semester in the mode assigned (asynchronous, synchronous, in‑person, or hybrid).Conditional AppointmentAppointment is contingent on budget and enrollment considerations and subject to order of assignment provisions in the collective bargaining agreement between CSU and pensationCommensurate with qualifications and experience within salary range placement. The salary range for a temporary faculty with a Master’s degree is $5,507 – $6,677 per month when teaching full time (15 WTUs). Starting salaries are usually at or near the minimum of the range. Presente monthly salary will be adjusted based on the number of WTUs assigned per term.Required QualificationsEducation:Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent.Experience:Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff,



and students from diverse backgrounds.Active Physical Therapist, licensed in the State of California.Minimum of 5 years of full‑time clinical experience in the area of clinical expertise.APTA Clinical Instructor Certificate and experience with at least 4 students in a full‑time practice setting (e.G., skilled nursing, neuro‑rehab, outpatient orthopedic, hospital).For lecturer applicants, highlight evidence of expertise, teaching experience, and continuing education courses.Preferred QualificationsCommitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level, demonstrated through teaching experience and evaluations.Board‑Certified Clinical Specialist through the APTA.Application ProceduresComplete an online application.
