About Nomad Girls Club

Nomad Girls Club is a community bringing women together through real-life experiences, friendships, wellness, creativity and meaningful connection.

We organize events designed to make it easier for women — whether they are locals, newcomers, expats or travelers — to meet new people and feel part of a community in their city.

We’re looking for a Community & Events Intern to help us grow NGC in Barcelona.

This is a very hands-on role. You won’t just be working behind a laptop — you’ll be helping create the presente experiences that bring the community together.

Internship Details

3-month internship

Approximately 20 hours per week

Unpaid

Combination of remote work and in-person activities/events in Barcelona

Some availability during evenings or weekends will be needed depending on the event schedule

Your main responsibility will be helping us organize and host NGC events in-person in Barcelona.

You’ll also

- Host and coordinate NGC events in your city
- Help plan upcoming events and experiences
- Research and contact new venues
- Find potential local partners and collaborations
- Build relationships with cafés, restaurants, wellness studios and other businesses
- Help promote events and come up with creative ways to increase attendance
- Create simple social media content for NGC
- Design posts, stories and other promotional materials
- Write blog articles and city guides related to your city
- Edit short-form videos and content created by our volunteers
- Help capture content during events when needed
- Research interesting things happening in the city and new ideas for the community




- Support the overall growth of Nomad Girls Club locally

- Know your city well — or love discovering it
- Can work independently and take ownership of projects
- Are fluent or very comfortable communicating in English
- Believe in creating inclusive spaces where people feel welcome

What We’re Looking For

- Enrolled in (or recent graduate of) a Marketing, Communications, Business, or related program.
- Speak/Write in English
- Familiarity with social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and design skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working directly with the founder.

More than anything, we’re looking for someone who is proactive, social, reliable and excited about building community.
