Experteer Overview As an Application Integration Engineer, you design, implement, and operate Julius Baer’s general messaging and integration infrastructure. You combine integration and IBM MQ administration to ensure secure, high-performance data exchange across distributed systems. You will leverage ACE, MQ, and MFT to deliver end‑to‑end solutions with strong availability, resilience, and regulatory compliance. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to shape scalable, enterprise-grade integration that supports the bank’s mission in wealth management.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable integration solutions using IBM ACE for message routing and transformation
- Install, administer, and optimize IBM MQ across distributed environments, including hub-and-spoke and clustering
- Ensure high availability, performance, resilience, and disaster recovery readiness of messaging systems
- Secure integrations via TLS/SSL, certificate management, and access controls aligned with security standards
- Manage IBM MQ MFT for auditable, encrypted file exchanges with internal and external systems
- Perform root cause analysis and incident resolution; participate in 24/7 on-call for critical events
- Automate operations using scripting and automation tools (e.G., Ansible, Shell, Python, Perl)




- Adhere to change/release/configuration management; maintain audit readiness and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrate ethical and compliant behavior and participate in risk management and governance initiatives
- Willingness to participate in 24x7 rotational on-call support for global servicesResponsabilidades
- 8+ years' experience administering distributed IBM MQ infrastructure (queue managers, clustering, HA, DR)
- 6+ years' experience designing/implementing integration with IBM ACE on Linux (message flow, transformations, REST/SOAP)
- In-depth knowledge of IBM MQ MFT for secure file transfers
- Strong understanding of EAI/SOA principles and resilient messaging in financial environments
- Security hardening experience: SSL/TLS, certificates, authentication/authorization, encryption
- Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Perl, Python) and Ansible for automation
- Experience with diagnostic tools (MQSC, RFH2Util, MQEdit, QLOAD) and monitoring platforms
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure in regulated environments
- Strong communication skills in English; ability to collaborate across global teams
- Willingness to participate in 24x7 on-call support; IBM MQ or ACE certification is highly desirableRequisitos principales
