Position Details

- Position: Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q)
- Employment type: Casual
- Location: Wangaratta, VIC
- Availability: Adaptable availability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and sleepover shifts.

About You

- Provide person-centred support to help customers achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
- Support customers with daily living activities, personal care, health routines and community access.
- Follow support plans, behaviour support strategies and safety procedures.
- Use calm communication and positive approaches when responding to behaviours of concern.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Be reliable, patient and committed to delivering high-quality support.
- Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalence) is highly desirable
- Full VIC Driver's Licence

You must have or be willing to obtain:

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR
- Full VIC Driver’s licence




- International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
