AI Engineer – Generative AI (100% Remote, Spain)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer – Generative AI to join our client's innovative technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI solutions, designing and delivering scalable applications using the latest Generative AI technologies.

As part of a collaborative international environment, you will work closely with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions while contributing to the continuous evolution of AI-powered products.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate directly with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and implement architectures for Generative AI solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs using FastAPI.
- Build data extraction and transformation pipelines using Python.
- Develop intelligent AI agents and multi-agent architectures using modern AI frameworks.
- Deploy and maintain AI solutions in cloud environments.
- Apply Clean Architecture principles and software engineering best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of AI applications and platforms.

Requirements

Essential

- 4–5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.




- Hands-on experience developing AI agents and agentic architectures using modern Generative AI technologies.
- Experience working with vector databases.
- Strong proficiency in Python and relevant software development libraries and frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational database design.
- Experience with Docker for containerization and application deployment.
- Experience with LangChain and LangGraph in production or commercial projects.
- Experience developing scalable APIs using FastAPI.
- Strong client-facing communication skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Spanish fluent
- English level B2–C1 (required) for daily communication within international teams.

Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and process automation.
- Experience deploying AI solutions in cloud environments.
