Experteer Overview
In this role you will shape and modernize Dow Jones’s real-time content systems within a fast-paced tech team. You will work across technologies like Gen AI, AWS, microservices, and data pipelines to deliver high-quality solutions feeding Newswires, Factiva and the Wall Street Journal. You’ll partner with stakeholders to scope and deliver impactful technical projects, driving modernization and reliability. This is a hands-on, transformational role with cross-functional collaboration and learning opportunities. You will help elevate our platform capabilities and user experiences.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Design, develop, test and deploy high-quality solutions across the full SDLC using Agile/Scrum
• Work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Istio, Envoy, Jaeger, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, GenAI, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, JSON, XML, and MySQL
• Investigate, analyze and prototype to assess project feasibility
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage scope, milestones,



and timelines
• Provide guidance and training to management and stakeholders
• Demonstrate awareness of industry trends and emerging tools

Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of experience
• Experience building microservices in a service mesh environment
• RESTful API design and implementation
• Multi-region, multi-environment systems with CI/CD, high availability and disaster recovery
• Secure coding and vulnerability resolution
• Agile/Scrum experience in a diverse, global team
• 5+ years as a backend full-stack engineer
• 5+ years as a Java developer in Linux
