Experteer Overview As an Environmental Permitting and Compliance Specialist, you help navigate complex permitting and regulatory landscapes to enable infrastructure, energy, and industrial projects. You work within a global, multidisciplinary team to shape permitting strategies across Spain, Latin America, the UK, and the EMEA region. You translate regulations into practical project guidance, supporting decision-making and timely approvals. - Define and execute permitting strategies across multiple jurisdictions (Spain, Latin America, UK, EMEA)
- Assess permitting status, identify blockers and risks, and map critical-path timelines for Ready-to-Build
- Manage full permitting chain (EIA/DIA, urban planning, grid permits, etc.) including environmental and regulatory requirements
- Review and summarize Spanish permits and regulatory documents for English-speaking teams and clients
- Provide guidance on Spain permitting processes and translate regulatory requirements into actionable project guidance
- Coordinate with local authorities and consultants to manage approvals and prepare permits and compliance deliverables
- Develop and deliver training on permitting strategy and regulatory processes, focused on Spain, Latin America, and UK projects
- Contribute to proposals and design for permitting risk and project feasibility
- Maintain knowledge of Spain, UK, and EU permitting frameworksResponsabilidades
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, natural resources, planning, or related discipline
- Fluent in English and Spanish, with ability to review documents and communicate with stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with Spain permitting frameworks and approval processes (EIA/DIA, coordination with authorities, municipal licensing)
