Experteer Overview Join the Marine team to apply modelling and data analysis to assess discharges’ impact on estuarine and coastal water quality. You will support evidence-based decisions across major projects and national programmes, including bathing water and nutrient load modelling. The role offers collaboration with a dispersed team and external partners, with opportunities for training, mentoring, and flexible, virtual working. - Assess discharge impacts on water quality across key areas (Nuclear New Build, major infrastructure, Water Industry National Environment Programme)
- Model bathing water quality and nutrient loads in estuaries
- Analyse and interpret monitoring data and model outputs to inform environmental protection decisions
- Communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences and stakeholders

- Experience in data analysis
- Knowledge of modelling software
- Proficiency with Excel, Access, R, Power BI, GIS; experience with Mike orCormix is advantageous

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working in a virtual team; willingness to travel for meetings
