This role will support the design, planning, and delivery of airport related civil engineering projects, working alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing engineer to gain hands‑on experience within Aviation.Key responsibilities and duties include:Assisting in the design and development of civil engineering solutions for aviation projectsSupporting the preparation of drawings, reports, and technical specificationsUndertaking geometric and grading design of Runways, Taxiways, Aprons, service roads, etcCarrying out basic engineering calculations and analysisCollaborating with multidisciplinary teamsAssisting in the production of design documentation using tools such as Auto CAD, Civil 3 D, or similarSupporting project delivery teams with site inspections and data collectionEnsuring designs comply with relevant standardsTake part in client meetings and internal design reviewsCandidate specificationEssentialDegree in Civil Engineering or a related disciplineUnderstanding of civil engineering design principlesDemonstrable experience within a Civil Engineering roleFamiliarity with CAD software (Auto CAD, Civil 3 D, etc.)Strong communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to learn and develop within the aviation sectorDesirablesExposure to aviation or infrastructure projectsAn interest in progressing toward Chartered Engineer status (ICE or equivalent)Experience with modelling or analysis softwareUK ImmigrationMott Mac Donald Ltd. are not currently offering sponsorship to candidates under the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK.
