Energiot , is seeking a highly motivated
Junior Researcher / Research Engineer
to contribute to cutting‑edge research in
Energy Harvesting, MEMS, Wireless Sensor Systems and Smart Grid Technologies . About HEROGRID
HEROGRID is developing innovative solutions for
Dynamic Line Rating (DLR)
and smart power infrastructure monitoring through: Self-Powered Electronics You will contribute to technologies that improve the efficiency, resilience and sustainability of future energy networks. Your Main Responsibilities
Research piezoelectric, vibration-based and magneto-mechanical harvesting technologies Design, simulate and characterize MEMS and low-power electronic systems Integrate wireless sensing solutions for smart grid applications Perform experimental validation under real-world and harsh environmental conditions Collaborate with leading European research centres, universities and industrial partners Required:
MSc or PhD in: Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, Microelectronics, Materials Science, Related disciplines Experience in one or more of the following areas: Energy Harvesting, MEMS, Low-Power Electronics, Self-Powered Systems, Sensors and Actuators, Wireless Sensor Networks, IoT, Hardware Development Professional proficiency in English Strong teamwork, problem-solving and communication skills Nice to Have:
