Worldwide, more than 11 000 employees work on this permanent challenge at over 90 locations on all continents.About the roleThe Advanced Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) provides expert hands‑on technical expertise in all aspects of installation, commissioning, basic customer training, maintenance, fault‑finding, and customer support for Bruker’s products. This role will support the Customer Service team by delivering highly competent, effective, and focused solution support to maximize customer satisfaction and further the professional image of the company. The position is home‑office based in Spain, preferably in the Galicia region, with frequent travel in Spain and occasional travel throughout Europe.ResponsibilitiesFamiliarize with specific instrumentation before installation and participate in final testing at the factory.Liaise with customers and colleagues during the site‑planning process prior to installation.Inspect, install, set up, test, and achieve specifications for systems and accessories at customers’ sites,
and deliver basic operator training.Carry out breakdown and planned maintenance at customers’ sites.Provide technical, software, and application‑related support and assistance to customers and colleagues, either directly or by remote diagnosis.Execute necessary procedures to validate systems to certifiable standards.Provide technical input to the sales team in non‑routine sales cases.Frequent travel throughout Spain is essential; travel abroad may occur, especially within Europe.Activities cover all products manufactured or represented by the company.QualificationsQualification in electrical or electronic engineering, chemistry, or biochemistry, with additional practical experience in mass spectrometry considered a clear plus.Solid technical or scientific background gained in industry or academia.Proven experience in field‑service work.A current driving licence.Willingness to travel extensively, up to 80 %.No visa restrictions preventing travel in the USA or EMEA.Excellent relationship‑building skills, inspiring trust and confidence.Self‑motivation and the capacity to work collaboratively toward shared goals.Ability to contribute to a team effort while accepting responsibility for an individual mitment to continuous learning in a rapidly advancing technological area.Capacity to handle complete installation, commissioning, and user instruction for sophisticated instrumentation.Ability to diagnose causes of malfunction and actively resolve customers’ service problems.Good computer literacy, including familiarity with data‑system hardware and industry‑standard operating systems.Effective communication skills at all levels, with strong spoken and written English.Please submit your CV in English.
