Experteer Overview
As Principal Data Architect, you will own Nexthink’s enterprise data strategy and unify company-wide data into a single data lake. You will lead and mentor a team of data engineers, translating telemetry into product insights to drive revenue growth and reduce churn. You’ll present strategy to C-level stakeholders and shape an AI-ready data foundation. This role combines strategic architecture with hands-on leadership in a fast-growing, cross-functional environment.

• Own the enterprise data strategy and architecture, unifying data sources into a single data lake
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of data engineers
• Partner with Product Management and business stakeholders to translate usage data into product-led insights (upsell, churn prediction, revenue support)
• Manage senior stakeholders and present data strategy and insights to C-level management
• Own the technical architecture for data warehousing, data lake design, data modeling, and data access patterns
• Drive analytics layer design, including semantic modeling and BI dashboards
• Champion an AI-ready data strategy with governance and scalable foundations
• Establish data engineering standards, quality indicators, and maintainable code
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of data platforms and pipelines
• Promote agile, iterative engineering culture and contribute to team ceremonies





Responsabilidades
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years as Data Engineer or Data Architect; 3+ years leading a team
• Proven experience delivering unified data warehouse/data lake architectures
• Experience delivering product-led insights with Product and business teams
• Experience presenting to executive/C-level audiences
• Strong database design, data modeling, and handling structured/unstructured data
• System design and architectural skills for scalable data platforms
• SQL and Python proficiency; ETL/ELT pipelines experience
• Experience with dbt, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, Athena, Redshift or similar
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, QuickSight, Tableau)
• DevOps practices, CI/CD; Git
• Containerization and infrastructure tools (Docker, Terraform, Jenkins)
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Ability to own projects end-to-end with autonomy
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts; hands-on AI agents or RAG experience a plus
• Ability to architect AI-ready data foundations and partner with AI/ML teams
