Experteer Overview
In this Principal Statistical Programmer role, you will lead statistical programming activities for clinical projects within Syneos Health’s Clinical Solutions group. You will develop programs and analysis datasets, collaborating with statisticians and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outputs. You’ll mentor junior programmers, drive process improvements, and stay current with methods and tools to support data-driven decisions. The role combines hands-on programming with leadership to ensure accurate, reproducible results that advance trial outcomes. • Use SAS or other software to create tables, listings, graphs, and derived datasets per the SAP and specifications
• Provide technical leadership in statistical programming
• Collaborate with statisticians and stakeholders to address programming needs
• Act as the lead statistical programmer and oversee other programmers and deliverables
• Ensure data and outputs are accurate and reliable
• Troubleshoot programming issues and challenges




• Mentor and train junior programmers and team members
• Contribute to ongoing improvements of programming processes and tools
• Design and implement efficient programming solutions aligned with project requirements
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality
• Stay updated with advancements in statistical programming and apply relevant techniques

Responsabilidades
• Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Extensive experience in statistical programming, preferably in a clinical or pharmaceutical setting
• SAS programming (mandatory)
• R programming (optional)
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 or equivalent certification preferred
• Efficacy programming experience
• Oncology experience preferred
