Experteer Overview
As a Staff Software Engineer in Factorial’s DX and Performance team, you’ll drive performance, reliability, and observability across the platform. You’ll shape how we define and measure service health, and scale AI-assisted workflows to help engineers act faster. You’ll partner with product and infrastructure teams to raise engineering standards and standardize signals across teams. This cross-cutting role blends hands-on work, technical leadership, and coaching to improve SLIs/SLOs, load testing, and performance visibility. • Define and evolve SLIs and SLOs for critical journeys
• Standardize observability, dashboards, and health visibility across teams
• Investigate bottlenecks and regressions across app, database, async, and system layers
• Drive latency, throughput, scalability, and reliability improvements

• Help teams validate system behavior under realistic traffic and tenant scale

Responsabilidades
• Strong hands-on experience improving performance, scalability, and reliability in complex systems
• Experience defining or operating SLIs, SLOs, and service health frameworks
• Knowledge of observability practices and tools such as Datadog
• Experience investigating production bottlenecks across application, database, and distributed layers
• Experience building or improving load testing, benchmarking, or performance validation workflows
• Experience diagnosing tail latency and performance variability in production
• Broad experience with cloud-based production systems
• Strong communication skills and cross-team alignment
