Principal Clinical Scientist (AI Training) About The Role What if your career-long expertise in clinical trial design and regulatory science could directly shape how the world's most advanced AI systems understand biomedical evidence? We're looking for a Principal Clinical Scientist to bring senior-level rigor to AI-driven research workflows. Your work will help ensure that AI models reason about clinical data the way the best scientists do — accurately, methodically, and in line with the standards expected by the FDA, EMA, and equivalent agencies worldwide.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced clinical scientists who want to contribute to something genuinely new — without leaving behind the expertise it took years to build.

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design and review clinical trial protocols used to generate high-quality, regulator-ready datasets for AI training and evaluation
Interpret and audit clinical trial results, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and regulatory relevance
Evaluate AI-generated clinical analyses for scientific soundness and alignment with regulatory expectations
Identify gaps, errors, and weaknesses in how AI models reason about clinical outcomes and trial methodology
Provide structured expert feedback that directly improves how frontier AI systems understand real-world clinical evidence
Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule Who You Are Senior-level clinical scientist with hands-on experience designing and reviewing clinical trial protocols for regulatory submission
Deep expertise interpreting clinical data for agencies such as the FDA, EMA, or equivalent
Strong command of clinical research methodology, biostatistics, or translational science
Able to critically evaluate complex scientific outputs and communicate findings with precision
Detail-oriented and systematic — you hold work to a high standard Nice to Have Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning workflows in a biomedical context
