Experteer Overview
In this role you will own the firmware across Helsing’s robotics platforms, bridging hardware and software to deliver reliable real-time systems. You will shape architecture, guide technical strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable high-performing, observable robotics. The position sits at the intersection of hardware and software and offers impact through robust, end-to-end firmware solutions. You will contribute to a mission-driven, ethically aware team tackling complex defence-related challenges.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Design, implement, and maintain embedded firmware for real-time robotics systems (control, sensing, system health)
• Own firmware lifecycle from architecture to testing, deployment, and maintenance with emphasis on reliability and observability
• Diagnose complex system-level issues across firmware, software, hardware, using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and DMMs




• Serve as technical bridge between hardware and software teams to deliver cohesive systems
• Advise leadership on firmware strategy and technical direction, influencing platform evolution

Responsabilidades
• Production-grade embedded firmware experience for real-time systems
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded targets with CANOpenFD, UART, I2C
• Experience using hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, DMMs)
• Full ownership of firmware end-to-end from architecture to maintenance
• Fluent communication in English and Spanish
