Experteer Overview As a Senior Security Engineer for Datadog's Cloud SIEM, you will shape scalable threat detection, investigation, and response capabilities across cloud-native and enterprise environments. You’ll work with product, engineering, and security research teams to enhance AI-assisted workflows and agentic SOC capabilities, covering cloud platforms, SaaS, identities, endpoints, and networks. The role emphasizes research-driven content, automation, and measurable improvements in security outcomes. - Research attacker techniques and emerging threats to build scalable security capabilities
- Design and improve AI-powered investigation, threat hunting, and response workflows
- Own threat detections and automated security workflows from research to deployment and improvement
- Develop high-fidelity detection content across cloud platforms, SaaS, identity systems, endpoints, and networks




- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security Research, and customers to influence roadmap decisions
