Senior Frontend Developer at Julius Baer shaping modern, high-performance web apps for private banking. Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive frontend modules using React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, backend developers, and QA to translate requirements into production-ready features
• Promote clean code, unit/integration testing (Jest, React Testing Library), and automated CI/CD to ensure quality
• Lead architectural discussions on state management (Redux/Context API), routing, performance, and frontend security
• Build reusable UI components and design systems for cross-platform consistency
• Conduct code reviews to ensure accessibility (WCAG), performance, and coding standards
• Diagnose and resolve complex frontend issues (rendering, memory leaks, bundling, browser compatibility)




• Integrate feedback loops, monitoring, and observability into frontend workflows via agile/DevOps practices
• Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and knowledge-sharing on frontend trends and secure development practices
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies to improve processes and capabilities

Responsabilidades
• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• At least 4 years focused on React.js frontend development
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, ES6+, Webpack
• Experience with Redux, React Router, Axios, Styled Components
• Solid understanding of DOM, APIs, asynchronous programming, cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, RTL), Git, and CI/CD
• Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures, module federation (Webpack 5), and monorepos (Nx, Turborepo) is highly desirable
• Knowledge of frontend performance optimization and SEO for SPAs
• Understanding of security practices for client-side development (XSS, CSP, token handling)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in agile teams
