In this role you design and evaluate DL-based methods for surrogate modeling and generative AI within Siemens PhysicsAI. You work with cross-functional teams to turn promising research into production-ready solutions that accelerate engineering design. You tackle challenges in DL and physics-based simulation on industrial problems, shaping next-gen tools for Simcenter PhysicsAI. This is a collaborative, impact-driven opportunity at a world-scale software leader.

• Identify and assess emerging deep learning technologies for mechanical, aerospace, and civil engineering applications
• Develop and productize effective approaches by delivering production-grade code
• Evaluate gaps in current genAI capabilities to inform future research directions
• Translate customer needs from application engineers into research and design decisions
Responsabilidades
• Master's or PhD in relevant technical field
• Strong theoretical knowledge of deep learning fundamentals
• Familiarity with architectures such as transformers, diffusion models, normalizing flows, and Graph Neural Networks
• Proven knowledge of physics-based simulation (FEA, CFD)
• Strong background in PDEs and numerical methods
• Experience with mesh-based processing algorithms
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience working on large, complex code bases
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical findings clearly
