Applications Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated Applications Engineer to join our team in Spain. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work at the leading edge of technical solution delivery and system integration.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, testing, and optimisation of engineering applications, with a focus on enhancing functionality and performance for demanding engineering applications. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team bridging the gap between concept and production-ready solutions. Responsibilities / What you will do
- Lead and support the deployment of new software and hardware applications, with emphasis on integration and advanced alloy manufacturing workflows.
- Characterise and optimise application performance (e.g., reliability, user efficiency, thermal performance, and system compatibility).




- Conduct experimental testing and analysis of application feedstocks and integrated systems.
- Collaborate with process engineers and design teams to ensure application performance aligns with end-use applications.
- Develop and maintain technical databases, test standards, and qualification processes for new applications.
- Support R&D; projects, contributing to technical reports, publications, and presentations for clients.
- Stay current with emerging applications, technologies, and industry standards in related manufacturing methods.

Experience / Who you are
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in technical applications development or systems engineering within a manufacturing context.
- Strong background in physical and functional characterisation (mechanical, thermal, or system analysis).
