Experteer Overview
In this VP role, you will price, execute and hedge structured credit and hybrid transactions within a fast-growing global trading franchise. You will actively manage risk across trading positions and mentor junior traders. You will enhance trading monitoring tools and contribute to new product development with Quants and Structurers. The role sits in Santander CIB's Global Markets, blending innovation with a strong risk culture. This is an opportunity to shape complex credit solutions in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Price, execute and hedge structured credit and hybrids transactions (incl. repacks and credit linked notes)
• Dynamically risk manage trading positions
• Train junior resources on the trading team
• Maintain, improve and create trading monitoring tools
• Contribute to new product development with Quants, Structurers and Support/Control functions

Responsabilidades




• Minimum 4 years of experience in Credit, Hybrids, Structured Rates or XVA trading/structuring/quant roles
• Bachelor/Master/PhD in Sciences or Economics/Statistics
• Working English (required); Spanish or another European language a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with AI-augmented coding tools (preferred)
• Team player
• Entrepreneurial, delivery-oriented mindset
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced trading environment
