Responsabilidades We’re looking for an experienced Senior Underwriter to join our growing Custom team in Spain. This is a high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of underwriting new business and managing a portfolio, while building strong broker relationships and contributing to commercial growth.

You’ll operate within your underwriting authority, working across potentially multi-line business, and playing a key role in delivering strong financial and customer outcomes.

Underwriting & Portfolio Management

Underwrite new business and renewals within your authority level

Assess risks, price and structure deals, and produce accurate quotes

Manage policy issuance and amendments

Monitor and manage renewals, including non-tacit business

Support portfolio performance tracking and improvements

Broker Development & Sales

Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers across your region [

Support business development through meetings, presentations, and training





Contribute to growth, retention, and profitability targets

Collaboration & Delivery

Work closely with underwriting, operations, claims, and legal teams

Contribute to team initiatives, product development, and innovation projects

Participate in business planning and cross-functional collaboration

Titulaciones

Minimum 5 years’ underwriting experience in the insurance market

Strong technical underwriting knowledge and commercial awareness

Proven ability to build and maintain broker relationships

Excellent organisation and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Proactive, resilient, and collaborative approach

Degree in Business, Economics, Law, or similar (preferred)

Business-level English and Spanish required
