Experteer Overview As an Ocean Procurement Analyst, you will shape pricing and procurement across a defined region, aligning with the general carrier strategy and product goals. You collaborate with carriers, vendors, product, sales, and branches to negotiate rates, manage contracts, and deliver market intelligence that informs pricing decisions. You’ll drive timely pricing execution and support commercial growth through cross-functional partnerships. This role offers the chance to influence global ocean procurement, expand trade lanes, and provide pricing guidance across a worldwide network.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Manage core carrier relationships aligned with the global strategy
- Negotiate freight rates, terms, and conditions with ocean carriers for strategic and regular business
- Maintain and update carrier contracts, including FAK and NAC agreements
- Ensure timely and accurate rate updates in internal systems
- Coordinate with regional/global pricing teams to support pricing initiatives
- Build and maintain vendor relationships following engagement guidelines
- Process FCL rate requests within service level expectations
- Support product managers by identifying market trends and expansion opportunities




- Prepare reports on quotes, volumes, key trade lanes, and pricing performance
- Support sales teams, global accounts, and branches with pricing guidance and tender responses
- Deliver sales training on ocean products and share market intelligence
- Contribute to expanding ocean product offerings and new key trade lanesResponsabilidades
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, or ocean transportation
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship management capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
