Would you like to be part of a company that's changing the way babies eat?

At SMILEAT, we believe there's another way to feed the little ones: organic ingredients, honest recipes, and a real commitment to families and the planet.

We're looking for someone to join our Purchasing team who loves organizing, negotiating, and staying one step ahead of the business's needs. Someone who understands that behind every raw material, every package, and every order, there are thousands of families trusting us.

You’ll be a key part of making sure we never run short on the essentials — from raw materials to the packaging our products need to reach families on time, with the highest quality, and in line with our standards.

You’ll work hand in hand with our Production, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to ensure efficient sourcing and help our products reach families at just the right moment.

What you’ll do day to day

Manage purchases of raw materials, finished products, and auxiliary materials (packaging, labels, wrapping, etc.)

Build close relationships with our suppliers, ensuring quality, availability, and on-time delivery

Monitor stock and inventory levels to guarantee supply without losing efficiency

Calculate safety stock, optimize minimum order quantities (MOQs), and manage lead times

Coordinate with Production, Sales, and Logistics to align purchasing with real demand

Oversee proper expiry date management and product rotation (FIFO) — especially critical in organic baby food

Resolve supplier issues quickly and proactively, always aiming for the best solution

Spot opportunities to improve purchasing and inventory processes so we keep growing sustainably

We’d love to meet you if

You have at least 3 years of experience in a Purchasing role, ideally within the food industry

You’re comfortable with Excel and have experience with an ERP system (NetSuite, Oracle, Delsys, or similar)

You can communicate in English (B2 level or above) with international suppliers

You enjoy analyzing data to make better decisions and identify opportunities for improvement

You’re organized, resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently

You enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating across different areas of the business

What we offer

Competitive compensation package, including a versátil benefits plan

Up to 60 days of flexible remote work per year

Flexible working hours to support work-life balance

Ongoing training and real opportunities for professional growth

Employee discounts

Offices right in the heart of Madrid's Gran Vía

Shorter working days in summer

Sponsored participation in races and sporting events

And above all, the opportunity to grow alongside a company that's transforming baby food

We're looking for people who want to be part of something more than just a job. People who are curious, eager to learn, and ready to contribute. People who enjoy teamwork and taking on new challenges. People who want to help build a project with real, positive impact.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to meet you!

Ready to join us?
