The role combines hands-on technical work with close collaboration across business and data teams.
You will build semantic models, define meaningful KPIs, and create intuitive dashboards that support better decision-making.
You will also help establish consistent reporting standards and promote self-service analytics across the business.
Working in a remote-first environment, you will have significant ownership over the evolution of the BI and analytics landscape.

Accountabilities




Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable analytical solutions.
Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Metabase or comparable BI platforms.
Define, document, and maintain business metrics, KPIs, reporting standards, and shared business definitions.
Develop and optimise advanced SQL queries for reporting and analytical use cases.
Design semantic data models and reporting datasets that enable reliable self-service analytics.
Validate data accuracy and consistency across dashboards, reports, and analytical datasets.
Investigate data discrepancies and collaborate with Data Engineers to identify root causes and drive issues through resolution.
Analyse business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Establish and promote best practices in business intelligence, reporting, and data visualisation.
