Role Description The Senior SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Consultant is a full-time hybrid role based in Spain, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. In this position, the consultant will lead functional design, configuration, and optimization of SAP TM solutions, ensuring alignment with client logistics and supply chain processes.

Daily responsibilities include conducting requirements workshops, documenting functional specifications, configuring SAP TM components, and collaborating with technical teams on integrations with related SAP modules. The consultant will support testing cycles, resolve functional issues,



and provide guidance and training to key users and stakeholders. The role also involves advising clients on best practices, contributing to project planning, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives across Smartedge’s SAP portfolio.

Qualifications

- Strong SAP Transportation Management functional experience, including configuration, process design, and integration with core logistics and supply chain modules.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation of functional specifications for enterprise SAP implementations.
- Experience supporting testing activities (unit, integration, UAT), issue resolution, and system enhancements in complex SAP environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical consultants, project managers, and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other European languages is an advantage.
- Background in IT consulting, logistics, or supply chain management; prior work on international or multi-site SAP projects is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid setting, manage priorities independently, and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines.
