Responsibilities

Act as key operational partner for regulatory compliance for sustainability.

Drive day-to-day execution and provide regulatory insights.

Ensure general compliance of HP products with environmental regulations and market access requirements.

Maintain visibility on regulations, trends, implementation status, risks, and challenges across regions.

Prepare and support monthly compliance reviews and reporting.

Track and resolve off-track items, driving actions and mitigation plans.

Support the development and quality of Working Assumptions and regulatory interpretations.

Act as packaging sustainability SME for customer inquiries and requirements.

Collaborate with HP product stewards to set and drive HP’s sustainability strategies and goals across functions.

Monitor industry trends, technologies, and competitor landscape.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, Environmental Science or related field.

Knowledge and understanding of sustainability topics (ESG, recycling, circular economy, etc.)

Strong project management skills

Using data and AI tools

Typically, 2+ years’ experience in packaging design, sustainability,



compliance or with relevant work experience.

Desirable: experience/specialist knowledge of Extended Producer Responsibility (including WEEE and Batteries), Packaging or Product Repair & Longevity

Proven project management skills to lead projects and programs with team members from diverse technical backgrounds.

Ability to collaborate successfully, coordinating and directing virtual, matrixed teams and resources to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and solve complex problems.

Effective written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English.

Willingness to thrive in an ambiguous and dynamic environment.

Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Self‑motivated to make progress towards goals autonomously as needed.

Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Experience or understanding of productivity software and tools, including AI, Power BI, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.

Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, results, and requests at the senior management level.
