Are you an Solutions Engineer that wants to design the next generation of world-class fulfillment centers and logistics systems across the globe? Does the idea of designing Intralogistics systems that leverage ground breaking automated Material Handling Equipment, packaging technologies and robotics appeal to you? A successful candidate will have an established background in creating high-performance physical systems, a strong technical problem-solving ability, excellent project management skills, and an internal motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment.

In this role, you will partner with internal and external teams to design high quality, cost effective solutions for our fulfillment and distribution systems. You will own multiple projects simultaneously, from concept realization through design approval. You will be our suppliers’ primary point of technical contact for your projects.

Then, once the design is completed and approved, you will hand-off the project to our Ops Engineering team who will oversee the installation and commissioning of the project. Your projects will include green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits. Your projects will be a variety of template-based and designed-from-scratch.

Invent, design, and implement engineering solutions to complex material flow/transformation and human/machine efficiency problems throughout the integral Amazon supply chain. Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the fulfillment and transportation network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations. Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time.





Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors. Provide technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects Effectively communicate the vision, detailed roadmap, and specific technical solutions to make a compelling business case with senior executives.
