Responsibilities

Lead or contribute to the development or refinement of credit rating methodologies

Lead or oversee the background research supporting methodology development work

Interact with and maintain relationships with the heads of the various rating teams

Contribute to the development of analytical tools used in credit analysis

Oversee the work of junior analysts; help train and mentor less experienced team members

Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Adhere to rigorous regulatory requirements

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of fundamental credit experience

Substantial exposure at a rating agency, lending institution, private credit platform, or comparable organization

Demonstrated depth of experience in some fundamental credit sectors





Strong foundation in financial analysis

Proven experience managing and mentoring analytical teams

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Advanced technical proficiency in Excel, Python, financial modeling, and data analysis

Strong research and analytical capabilities

Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining high-quality output

Proactive, collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills

Bachelor’s degree in finance, data science, economics, or related discipline required; advanced degrees preferred
