In this Hardware Engineer role with Novanta Ru0026amp;A, you will develop robust, high‑performance electronics for motion control products. You’ll work on system‑level design, power management, and interfaces for industrial and medical applications, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable solutions from concept to production. A key focus is improving hardware quality on the stepper motor product line while enabling new designs across Ru0026amp;A. You will join a team that values expertise, state‑of‑the‑art power electronics, and customer‑driven innovation.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Develop and maintain hardware for Ru0026A products with emphasis on stepper motors
• Design new and modify existing electronic circuits (schematic and layout)
• Perform circuit analysis and optimize designs via component selection and simulations
• Hands‑on hardware bring‑up, debugging, and optimization




• Update external documentation (manuals, datasheets) and internal architecture/design docs
• Create Test and Verification Plans with QA
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align requirements
• Communicate with customers and suppliers to support development and integration

Responsabilidades
• Ms or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Experience with electronic circuit design and assembly
• Background in electrical power applications
• PCB/PCA manufacturing experience
• Electronics verification and validation experience
• Ability to write technical documentation (assembly instructions, test procedures)
• Proven experience with Altium Designer
• Fluent in Spanish and English
