The Head of Finance will lead all financial activities of the Spanish business, acting as a strategic financial partner to the Country Managing Director. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial management and reporting, including P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting, while overseeing local treasury, tax, internal controls, and risk management activities in coordination with Corporate Finance, Treasury, and Tax teams. The position will also ensure the establishment of a robust and efficient finance operation aligned with the company’s governance standards and business objectives.

Reporting to the Managing Director in Spain the selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Duties

Oversee accounting activities for the Spanish entities under local GAAP and IFRS standards.

Manage cash flow, payment processes, liquidity planning, and banking relationships.

Monitor budget deviations and support departments in budget control and cost management.

Ensure timely tax filings and full compliance with tax, audit.





Prepare monthly closings, financial reporting, variance analysis, forecasts, and annual budgets.

Coordinate relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, financial authorities, and service providers.

Support refinancing activities, new investments, transactions, and M&A; processes.

Ensure strong internal controls, procurement compliance, and risk management practices.

Drive finance process improvements, reporting enhancements, and implementation of finance tools.

Lead, motivate, and develop the finance team while collaborating closely with Corporate and international finance teams.

Education
University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Experience
Proven experience in a Head of Finance or senior finance leadership role.
