We are looking for a
Senior Backend Spark Developer
responsible for the design, development, and optimization of data processing solutions within the Client Contribution platform. You will play a key role in building scalable and high‑performance Big Data pipelines while collaborating across multiple teams. High English level is required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical decisions and contribute to architecture design
Develop, maintain, and optimize Big Data pipelines
Support data integration initiatives across different systems
Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Collaborate with functional and technical teams across multiple workstreams
Mentor and support other team members, fostering knowledge sharing
Mandatory Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience with Apache Spark (Scala or Python)
Strong experience with Apache Spark (must‑have)
Proficiency in Scala or Python
Solid SQL knowledge and data modelling skills
Experience with Azure Databricks and Hive
Experience working in CI/CD and DevOps environments (Git, GitHub, Sonar, Nexus)
Agile mindset and experience working in Agile environments
Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude
English level B2+ (minimum) and Spanish (at least C1+)
Nice To Have
Experience with orchestration tools (Control‑M, Airflow or similar)
Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem
Interest or experience in AI technologies applied to data engineering, analytics, or automation
