The Agile Monkeys is a boutique software and AI consultancy. We started more than 12 years ago with a long-term mindset and have grown entirely through bootstrapping, no outside dependencies. Today we are a team of 70+ people working for companies in the United States, including some of the largest and most relevant in the world. We are fully internationalized: our revenue comes from the US, which makes currency, treasury and cross-border structure real, everyday challenges. We are now investing in our own products and doubling down on research, artificial intelligence and product. Our medium-term ambition is to become a Venture Builder / Startup Studio, launching innovative projects across sectors, with a particular focus on positive impact on society.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a senior, hands-on CFO / Financial Director to own the financial health of the company and build our finance function into a real competitive advantage.



This is a leadership role for someone who can think strategically and execute operationally, owning both the big picture and the details when necessary. You will build robust processes, ensure full compliance, and turn our finances into a source of control, insight and confident decision-making. Over time, we want this person to become a trusted partner we rely on for all our projects and ventures.

What You Will Own
- Lead the finance function end to end, accounting, controlling, treasury, planning and reporting, supported by a small team.
- Design and enforce scalable processes, controls and policies from scratch, and deliver a reliable monthly close and financial reporting on time.
- Own treasury and FX across a multi-currency environment (revenue in USD, costs in EUR), managing exposure and banking relationships.
