About the Role

We're looking for a
Senior Firmware Engineer
to join a leading semiconductor business. In this role, you'll design, develop, and optimise embedded firmware for cutting-edge hardware, working close to the silicon on performance-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain firmware using
Embedded C
for semiconductor products.
- Design and implement solutions on
RTOS
(Real-Time Operating System) platforms.
- Work closely with hardware and design teams to bring new products from concept to production.
- Debug, test, and optimise firmware for reliability, performance, and low-level hardware control.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers.

What You'll Need




- Strong hands-on experience with
Embedded C
development.
- Proven expertise working with
RTOS
environments.
- Solid understanding of low-level hardware, microcontrollers, and communication protocols.
- Background in a high-tech industry.
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work in a collaborative engineering team.
